Why is it so difficult to fight climate change

Modern worldwide corporations would likely see climate change not so much as a problem but as an opportunity.  They would see it as a way to make money by selling products and services that help people adapt to the changing climate. For example, corporations might try to sell solar panels, electric vehicles, or flood insurance.  They might also sell products and services that help people reduce their carbon footprint, such as energy-efficient appliances or home insulation. Corporations would likely argue that climate change is a challenge, but it is also an opportunity for businesses to grow and create new jobs.  They would say that the government should support businesses that are developing new technologies and solutions to climate change. Of course, corporations would also be aware of the risks associated with climate change. We knew and did so little

We've known about global warming for decades, but we've done jack shit about it. The generations X, Z, and Millennial have all grown up knowing that the planet is warming, and they've all been told that we need to do something about it. But we haven't done anything. We've all just sat back and watched the world burn. We've watched the ice caps melt, the sea levels rise, and the weather become more extreme. And we've done nothing. Why? Because we're all too busy with our own lives. We're too busy working, too busy raising families, too busy trying to make ends meet. We don't have time to worry about the planet. But the truth is, we can't afford not to worry about the planet. Global warming is a real threat, and it's only going to get worse if we don't do something about it. So what are we going to do?
