Mentalist card trick with accomplice

This is a really easy card trick

Here is the setup

a deck of cards

ask the accomplice (mentalist) to leave the room

present that person as the mind reader, or the person with the extraordinary memory

once that person has left the room

present the deck of card, shuffle it 

then ask the audience to pick a card

show it to the audience, and put that card in reverse in front of you

then shuffle the deck of card, display the deck and tell the audience, that they could have selected any cards, and while doing that identify the 'twin card' that is in the deck quickly

a twin card for the ace of heart, is the ace of diamond, same color, same number or rank

do a pinky break on the deck, where that card is

then put that card as the first card in the revealed deck

ask the 'mentalist' to return back in the room

let him see the revealed deck and ask him to guess which card has been removed from the deck

the mentalist just check the first card, and then from there identify the missing 'twin card'

and then once the audience gasp, return the card that was left

Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 2 - Rick: A Mort Well Lived RMS6E2 What a nice surprise to see the video game "Roy: A Life Well Lived" featured - as we know this game is an established Virtual Reality Life Simulator, completely immersive.  And of course the whole spin off, is about 'Die-Hard' ; which is also a recurring theme, with the 'pickle Rick' episode going into a rampage in the building filled with spies. Still, a very entertaining episode, and remember 'We're all Morty!'
